The story
The most-recognized silhouette in our drawer. Carved from kiln-dried linden, hand-painted, sealed with marine epoxy. The compact body sits flat on the surface and twitches with a flick of the rod — the streaked red-and-black finish flashes against the sky, which is what brings rudd, grayling, perch and trout up out of cover. A working bait, not a display piece.
